Moore Greece at the 22nd Navigator – The Shipping Decision Makers Forum

Delighted to be facilitating the discussion on ESG in shipping, at the 22nd NAVIGATOR SHIPPING CONSULTANTS forum. Our table group, led by Costas Constantinou, shared useful insights about the challenges of ESG in a vivid discussion where private and listed companies representatives took part.

"The ability to report on sustainability metrics in a quick, accurate and consistent manner is going to be a major differentiator soon and shipping companies must be able to do so to remain visible to the eyes of their counterparties. As Pinelopi Kassani explained, reporting although the responsibility of the finance department, is a formal data collection and validation process that involves all departments of the company which will need to adapt to doing so. Listed companies have already started and private companies will soon be asked to provide various information by their finance providers as well as other stakeholders."
